Ever since selected people were sent invitations to an "Apple Experience" taking place on March 4, 2026, it has been presumed that the company is about to make at least five announcements. Now Tim Cook appears to have confirmed this, with a post to X using the hashtag #AppleLaunch.

"A big week ahead," he wrote. "It all starts Monday morning!" Compared to when he posted just the words "this week" about what turned out to be a MacBook Air, this is practically talkative.

Just as with that March 2025 hint, Cook still gives away nothing other than that there will be a week of launches. On past experience, though, this may not even mean the whole week.

In October 2024, Apple was said to be readying an entire week of M4 Mac announcements. In that case, the week turned out to be three days long.

Lending weight to the idea that this may happen again is the fact that the Apple Experience date of March 4, 2026, is on the Wednesday of the week. Apple may well have completed its announcements by then.

What's expected to launch

The GIF included in Tim Cook's post shows a finger swiping to create the Apple logo on what looks like a MacBook. That would fit with the repeated claims that Apple will launch a budget-focused new MacBook which will retain the range's typical aluminum casing.

But Apple is also expected to shortly launch the iPhone 17e, this time the budget-focused version of the iPhone. It's believed to be a minor update to the current iPhone 16e, but could gain the Dynamic Island and MagSafe charging.

It's possible, then, that Apple may position this is a week of budget-friendly launches. But then Apple tends not to use terms like that, or low-cost, and there is also the expectation that it will soon launch devices that are certainly not budget-friendly.

Those are the Macs with the M5 Pro and M5 Max processors. But based on previous release schedules, Apple is also expected to launch an iPad Air and regular iPad refresh in the near future.

It's also conceivable that this may be when Apple launches its updated version of Siri, although that hasn't yet appeared in any of the beta releases.

The revamped Siri using Google Gemini has previously been reported to be launching with iOS 26.4 which is currently in beta. There have been reports that it is delayed, though others that it is still on track.
