Pokémon's 30th anniversary celebrations start with a bang this afternoon, with a special Pokémon Presents broadcast that could reveal the new generation (gen 10) of core Pokémon games. The show starts at 2pm (UK) and you can watch it in the video embedded here.

The Pokémon Presents is scheduled to run for about 20-25 minutes and is expected to be where we'll hear about the successor to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and the next generation of Pokémon games. Legends Z-A technically belongs to generation nine.

We're also expecting updates on Pokémon Champions and we're bracing, we hope, for some surprises. We won't be covering this event live, by the way, but we will be rounding up the broadcast afterwards.
