Fever Ray has shared a pair of songs they contributed to The Bride!, a new spin on The Bride of Frankenstein directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal. Listen to “The Lake” and “Wrong Flower” in the playlist below. Both are released in cinematic and non-cinematic versions in a four-song package billed as a Fever Ray EP, out today. The full soundtrack to The Bride!, also featuring these songs, is out March 6.

Karin Dreijer, whose last Fever Ray record was 2023’s Radical Romantics, stars as a performer in an underground club scene in the film. They said in a press release, “I’m very thankful for being invited to this project by Maggie Gyllenhaal! I was a fan before, but when I read the manuscript for the first time, I was hooked. The language of The Bride! is poetic, fun and magical, exactly where I like to exist.”
