YouTube is buzzing again, and this time it involves MrBeast and fellow creator Rosanna Pansino. The debate started after Jeff Housenbold, CEO of Beast Industries, said MrBeast’s content reached 1.45 billion unique viewers in the last 90 days. That number caught attention fast. Soon after, Rosanna Pansino went on X and asked a direct question. She wondered if viewers were told how many of those views came from paid promotions. Her post quickly spread online. Some people supported her for asking questions. Others felt she was unfair. As of now, neither Jeff Housenbold nor MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has replied publicly to her comments. Still, the conversation has opened up a bigger discussion about YouTube ads, paid reach, and what counts as real growth.

Rosanna Pansino questions MrBeast’s view numbers as Jeff Housenbold’s 1.45 billion claim sparks online debate
After Jeff Housenbold shared the 1.45 billion figure, Rosanna Pansino pointed to publicly available ad data. She wrote on X asking whether the company had disclosed “how many of those views were paid for.” In another post, she said she was not accusing anyone of wrongdoing. Instead, she explained that YouTube’s Promote feature allows creators to spend money to boost views and gain subscribers. She also claimed that MrBeast had run his videos as ads many times last year and suggested that his long-form views appear lower compared to the previous year.
However, she did not provide private documents. She said her comments were based on open data tools that track ad activity. The reaction online was mixed. One user, @KingKinvar, wrote, “I don’t think you know what accuse means. Whether the claim is true or false, it is still an accusation.” Another user, @Jonnyboig, posted, “I swear the only time I see her in the feed she attacks MrBeast all because she lost a hide and seek.” A third user, @AAnon188124944, commented, “You have such a plain and obvious bias against him that no one is going to take you seriously.” Meanwhile, @dude_vfx0 added, “Running ads isn’t fake. Calling ad impressions ‘organic reach’ is where it gets weird.”This is not the first time MrBeast has faced online criticism recently. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, he said he has “negative money” in his bank account while explaining the difference between net worth and cash on hand. He said that even if someone is a billionaire on paper, they may not have that much liquid money available. Some viewers felt that comparison did not sit well with regular people. For now, there has been no direct response from Beast Industries or Jimmy Donaldson about Rosanna Pansino’s latest comments. The debate continues, and fans are watching closely.
