Previously, I published 13 thoughts on Dr. Vinay Prasad’s “leaked” memo, which alleged the COVID vaccine killed at least 10 children. Dr. Prasad hasn’t produced a shred of evidence to support this claim, which if taken at face value, means the FDA is currently hiding the evidence while allowing a deadly product to remain on the market. It’s everything anti-vaxxers have been crowing about for decades. As such, I would like to share 6 more thoughts on this topic.

1. A Timeline Review.

• July 2023: Although he was just a Fox News commentator at the time, Dr. Marty Makary said that“One thing RFK Jr. did is he would post true stories of children who died immediately after the vaccine. These were otherwise healthy children.” This was false. In reality, RFK stole pictures of unvaccinated children who died from other causes to sell his anti-vaccine propaganda publications.

• September 2025: Dr. Marty Makary, now the FDA commissioner, claimed that the COVID vaccine killed children in an interview on CNN and promised a report would be released “in a few weeks.” No report is released.

• September 2025: News organizations report that “Food and Drug Administration officials plan to present data they claim links the Covid vaccine to 25 deaths in children at what’s expected to be a closely watched vaccine advisory committee next week, a source confirmed to NBC News.” This presentation on 25 dead children does not occur.

• November 2025: Stat News published an article titled How Two FDA Officials, Prasad and Høeg, Seized Vaccine Oversight that said:

She (Dr. Tracy Høeg ) pointed to a recent label change that required vaccine makers to warn of the risk of myocarditis for young men. And she displayed about two dozen reports of young people who had died after getting the vaccine, found in the agency’s adverse event database. While such reports do not prove causality, Høeg seemed convinced.

“Timing fits,” read a slide in her presentation, viewed by STAT. “Diagnosis fits. No better explanation found. Sufficient information provided.”

Cautiously, despite fears that they might face retribution, some of the scientists began to push back at Hoeg’s suggestion to effectively take the vaccine away from millions based on thin evidence. One participant described the mood in the room as “quiet horror.” “It was so far off base,” said the agency official, who was not authorized to speak publicly.

When it became clear that no career regulator would stand by the decision, and when vaccine center director Vinay Prasad said the move wasn’t necessary because he had already limited access to the shots, Høeg backed down.

• November 2025: Dr. Vinay Prasad sent a “leaked” memo that said:

The team has performed an initial analysis of 96 deaths between 2021 and 2024, and concludes that no fewer than 10 are related. If anything, this represents conservative coding, where vaccines are exculpated rather than indicted in cases of ambiguity. The real number is higher.

This is a profound revelation. For the first time, the US FDA will acknowledge that COVID-19 vaccines have killed American children. Healthy young children who faced tremendously low risk of death were coerced, at the behest of the Biden administration, via school and work mandates, to receive a vaccine that could result in death. In many cases, such mandates were harmful. It is difficult to read cases where kids aged 7 to 16 may be dead as a result of covid vaccines.

• December 2025: Dr. Makary made the media rounds to support Dr. Prasad’s claim and accuse his predecessors of a cover-up. “You’ve got to be honest,” he said, promising the evidence would soon be released.

• December 2025: Dr. Jeremy Faust wrote an article titled FDA Vax Chief Jumped the Gun on Claims of Kid Deaths From COVID Shots that said:

According to a Dec. 5 post-marketing safety memo prepared by FDA scientists assigned to study the issue, agency scientists concluded that the actual number of deaths linked to COVID-19 vaccines in the U.S. is somewhere between zero and seven…

The final Dec. 5 memo, according to FDA employees with knowledge of the situation, states that under an established World Health Organization (WHO) framework, zero deaths were deemed “certain” to have been caused by COVID-19 vaccines, two were judged to be “probable/likely,” while five were “possible.”

Probable/likely cases are those determined to have been “unlikely” due to another cause. But for the “possible” category, an alternative explanation was determined to have been equally likely, meaning that the chance that vaccines were responsible for those deaths was 50-50 at most.

From this, it appears that the real number of deaths that FDA officials have linked to pediatric COVID-19 vaccines might be as low as zero — but probably rests in the range of two to five. This means that Prasad’s memo opened with a number of deaths that is 200% to 500% of the number that the scientists he assigned to study the problem reported.
